This may cause variations in how they burn.Between burns, snip off the black tip of the wick and relight. Occasionally wood wicks will struggle to stay lit or burn at the same rate. Trim as much of the black charred end off as possible. Enjoy!

On the first burn allow the wax to melt all the way to the sides of the container. This should take 1-3 hours. Failure to do this will often cause tunneling which can limit the life of your candle.
To extend the life of your candle extinguish the flame after 4 hours.
